Even I don’t know how I did that…

Perusing through the food isles of Target the other night, I have found what I believe will be my new favorite food.

Maruchan Yakisoba noodles.

These tasty noodles cook in about 5 minutes and are pretty damn good for about a buck a box.

As I was eating them last night, it dawned on me how incredibly simple I am when it comes to my food preferences. And I don’t mean slow. I mean not a lot of needs.

My favorite pizza is Totino’s. The crust is thin, there’s not a lot of sauce and it can be had 10 for $10 on sale at Foodlion.

My favorite sandwich is peanut butter and jelly on freshly bought bread.

My favorite meat is steak. Nothing fancy. Just steak. Sometimes with A1 and sometimes with ketchup. And, man, I realize how redneck that latter is, but I can’t help it. I used to eat ketchup and bologna sandwiches. Even I don’t know how I did that.

I’ve gone to more than a few fancy pants restaurants in my time, and honestly I can’t see the big deal. You get a huge plate with barely any food but, oh look, there’s little squigly designs on the plate. And a flower. I’m sorry, but pretty doesn’t fill my stomach. And fancy is just another term for you’ll be going somewhere else for more food later.

Wow. This entry certainly rambled on.

When I ate steak, I ate it with ketchup. However, I cannot condone instant noodles. You have to buy some nice rice noodles and learn to make your own pad thai or yummy garlic/ginger stirfry. I believe in simple but home made.

Yeah, I’m sure you “love noodles.” 😆

I’m sorry, I didn’t mean that. Real classy, Ron. Real classy. :shake:

🙁 I thought your favorite food was my home cooking. Your unfavorite aunt loved ketsup sandwiches when she was younger.

I’m glad you caught yourself, Ron. It’s a good first step.

Mom, you stopped cooking when I was about 14.

What in the hell is a Foodlion?
